Tuan Yung-sung, an opium addict, was executed by order of the Milltary Court of Shanghai and Woo sung Garrison Commander's Headquarters. on Thursday morning at Tunghua. Tuan was arrested in July and sent to a hospital, where he was said to have been cured of his habit. He was arrested by the Chapel police a second time on October 3, when hho was sentenced to death in cordance with Gen. Chiang Kal-shek's anti-drug regulations, Mr. Chang Fu-liang, rural secretary the National Christian Council, hes returned to Shanghai from Kiangsi, where he hag been direct ing the rural welfare work of the National Economic Council.
