The Union Club is no more. As a result of a vote of the members on Friday the organization of foreign land Chinese business men has been dissolved as having fulfilled the pur~ pose for which it was organized in 1919: the promotion of social inter= course between Chinese and foreign members of the Shanghai business 'The members voted unanimously the club's dissolution at Friday's meeting, which was held at the club quarters in Peking Road.
