Protection "Badly Needed"

Sint should like to support "Bast Hr" in Ris contention that a Shareholders Protection Society is badly needed in Shanghai.
We are smothered under with news and views of American. markets by radio and newspaper but there seems to be practically no comment as to the reasons for mysterious moves in local stocks and bonds.
For instance, the China Realty Company issued a balance shout as at December, 31 1934, showing, apart from mortgages, etc, cash in hand amourring to roughly 1% million dollars, yet their debentures have stumped" over-night to about half their' face value—and nota word of explanation from our local experts a far as T am aware.
Protection Society with a small levy would not only be a valuable land much needed insurance, but might also help to relieve a little of the present unemployment.
