Madrid, Oct. 6.
With practically the whole of the country in a state of civil war, Spain is faced with her most serious crisis since the overthrow of the monarchy Apri, 1061, the general strike initiated by Socialist trade unions to remove the three Catholic Ministers in the new Spanish Cabinet spread with lightning rapidity yesterday, violence broke out in many centres, causing numerous casualties. Definite figures are at present unavailable owing to the absence of communications.
Reports from the provinces early to-day indicated that the general strike was complete in Barcelona, Saragossa, Valencia, and Bilbao, but incomplete in Seville and Cordovs It is unofficially estimated that the death roll has risen to 75 in the Gisturbances throughout Spain at]
