Tightness in Money Market Still Having Adverse Affect on all Local Business Shanghai, June 15.
With the financial situation still unrelieved, and discouraging news from north China. the general tone of local business is pessimistic. During the week the Chinese Paper Guild followed in the footsteps of the Timber Guild, and requested all importers from July to September not to book further orders. The only activity was in the Green tea Chunmee market, though even there, prices were lower.
