Increased anxiety is being felt here for the safety of Lady Young, wife of the Governor of Northern Rhodesia, and Dr. Kirby, the Government Medical Officer, who are missing in a region abounding with wild animals, Twelve aeroplanes and hundreds men are participating in the search for the missing man and woman which thus far has proved unsuecessful.
Lady Young, accompanied by Dr. Kirby, left Livingstone by air on Thursday morning for Lusaka, the new capital of Northern Rfodesla. where she intended to rejoin her husband.
