The rest of the Dolan Expedition party, consisting of Mr. Marion Duncan and Mr. Ernst Schaeffer, has just arrived in Tachienlu with no doubt the most remarkable collection of Eastern Tibetan animals and birds that has ever been secured. Mr.
Schaeffer, who is a zoologist of the Goettingen University, is considered by many as the greatest hunter that ever come to China. though he is In his twenties. He probably has a greater variety of big game to his record than any other hunter.
He spent several months hunting north of Jekundo. where no. white man had dared to go, and has secured many unusual specimens of birds and game. Mr. Schaeffer and Mr. Duncan expect to leave Tachienlu together with the Edgar party, arriving in Shanghai towards the end of this month.
Meanwhile word has been received that Mrs. Cunningham and the Rev. R. Cunningham, who were forced to go to Shanghai several months ago for medical attention, are due to arrive in Tachienlu next week. The children of Tachienlu are already preparing to welcome this beloved missionary couple.
