Tokyo, Oct. 20. One thousand students of Keio University's preparatory school are: striking and refusing to obey tne Tules which require them to cut their hair short and wear regulation uniforms.
The students purchased new uniforms after which they were ordered to go through military manqeuvres which virtually destroyed the uniforms.
The students have demanded permission to wear civilian clothing in the class rooms, but the authorities fof the school have refused to allow them to do so—United Press,
