The Kwang Wha Petroleum Ca., Lid, Shanghai, is reported to have yoltntarlly applied to be put under State contro Mr. Hsu Shih-ying, chairman of the board of directors of the firm, in a Petition to the Ministry of Industry, says that, due to foreign competition, the company is no longer able carry on.
The petition requests that the assels and "liabilities of the company taken over by the Government, and that it be operated henceforth a5 a State enterprise—Kuo Min.
