Capt. Houghton in a short address said that if it had not been for the support. of Mr. Cunningham, the American Machine Gun" Company would probably never have come into Jexistence. The Conipany, however since ils. formation showed steady Progress and was proud of its record. JCapt. Houghton then called upon members of the unit to dismantle and reassemble a Vickers machine gun, which was done efficiently with an explanation given of the movements Following "which Capt." Houghton Jagain addressed the gathering. He tated that Mr. Cunningham was one Jot the best volunteers the community nad. Volunteers, he said, were) Jdivided into two sections, the active Jand the silent worker, Mr, Cunning-from belonged to the larier group. JCapt. Houghton, on behalf of the unit, then made the presentation to Mr." Cunningham.
