Athens, Dec. 17.
Greece's new monarch, King George 11, restored to his throne after twelve years in exile, to-day issued a decree dissolving Parliament and calling for general election on Januery 26. The faction wag seen as a. partial test lot the King's political power against the elements inthe Government which have opposed his policies since fois recent restoration—United Press.
All Jaws enacted by the former /Kondylis Government, about 150 in Jai, were suspended to-day by royal decree until. the formation of the mew Government which will emerge {trom the forthcoming elections.
Gen, Papagos, who was War Minister in the Kondylis Cabinet, was re-appointed to this post to-day.
The Government hes again ennounced that it will take all necessary measures to ensure complete freedom, lof vole—Trans-Ocean Kuo Min.
