The Manchukuoan exhibit, complete in blocks with many varieties, was especially interesting, while Mr. Langelutje's collection of stamps from Soviet Russia, which includes essays of many of the latest issues. was a main source of interest for many of the visitors. Several frames of stamps issued by various generals during the period of civil war in Russia were also on exhibit.
Mr. J. V. Stuart, of the Asiatic Petroleum Ca., loaned the society his fine collection of first issues of Holland stamps, complete with all the colour varieties. British Colonies were well represented, and some very rare specimens of Gibraltar stamps were among the most interesting single pieces shown. A complete set of Egyptian stamps, with many of the rarities constituted a number of frames in the show. The exhibition, which was visited by about 500 amateur philatelists was concluded with an auction attended by a large number of collectors.
