More news has come from London. concerning Miss Peggy Hookham's grand success in the very important role of "Odette" the Sadler's Wells revival of "Swan Lake". Miss Hook-ham, the daughter of Mr. F. J. Hook-ham' of Shanghai, is known professionally as Miss Margot Fonteyn. "The London Telegraph" of December 18 s3ys:—
"Miss Margot Fonteyn in the fame role gave a truly great performance. No other word will do. She has fully earned that rare title "ballerina" and Ben' Watson, Mr. and_ Mrs. time will certainly give her authority and full mastery of detail. No ballet over can afford to miss her inter pretation."
