Sr. Leon Cortes Castro, President of Costa Rica, today proved of the Senate's authorization to expropriate the American owned Electric Bond Share Ca. properties. The President's decision was the climax of a dispute in connection with the renewal of the company's franchise to supply light, power and trolley service. The Senate bill provides for indemnification of the company for all property expropriated—United Press. the United States that Mexico is able to pay promptly for the proper-tes taken from Americans."
