Wheat and Flour

Markets continued fo a continuous lack of demand in Europe.

The situation in China remains unchanged. Foreign wheat is st high-priced and this does not allow Chinese mills to import, fact that the Scandinavian Cap Con-Yention oMelally reduced their price for White and Coloured Cap. by twenty shillings a ton. Owing to German competition and also lately Japanese renewed activities li this market, very few orders for Cap have been placed with Scandinavian makers {in the past, which seems to be the reason for their above mentioned ¥eduction, Even so it Is feared. that comparatively little business wilt go fo Scandinavia as the competition referred to is still under quoting prices. While News on Reels is stilt in demand there has been very' litle interest shown in other' lines, Deliveries from local stocks have not been very brisk.
