The committee recently appointed by the Hopel and Charhar Political Couneit to hold examinations for un-Jemployed college and university Jeraduates has opened an arnee and {is busy making preparations for the examinations, the first of which are expected 10 begin on August 1, Registration of candidates for these examinations. beging on July 25 and ends on July 31. It is understood that only those who are graduates of colleges or universities in Peiping, Tientsin, and Paoting are entitled 10 sit for the examinations and that, in applying for registration, candidates must produce diplomas or eertifleates from their respective schools.
The candidates will frst take an examination in Chinese composition, and only those who pass it are entitled to sit for the second examina tion in technical subjects, which has been tentatively set for' August 10. 'The third and ast, examination will be held about the' end of August. Those who successfully pass the three examinations will be given employment in the various government or-Hanlzations under the control of the Hopel and Charhar Political Council, For the purpose of making room for successful candidates, the Council hi Instructed the different organizations to weed out those who hold coneurrent posts.
