As soveral_cases of hydrophobia have been reported in the Concession the result of bites from stray dogs, the French Municipal Council 1s once bringing to the attention of the general public the fact that it is Strictly forbidden for dogs to appear on the streets unmuzzled and not on a lead.
The public is asked to ce-operate with the authorities in their attempt put an end to this menace and to Inform the French Police immediately at 22 Route Stanislas Chevalier (telephone 70000) of any dogs which are either suspected of being rabid or have been bitten by another dog. Those bitten by a dog are requested to proceed without delay" to the Public Health Department, 620° Rue Amiral Bayle, for examination and immediate treatment.
