With 250 delegates from all' parts of the world present, the first world Jewish congress opened here. last hight with a speech by Rabbi Stefan Wise of New York City, who Is head of the Delegations Committee.
Robb! Wise underlined the neet sity of reuniting all forees for the examination of the defence of the rights of Jews throughout the world, He Projested against the anti-Jewish measures in Germany, and suggested that the anti-German' economic boy-cot be continued.
The congress will close in a week,
