A rather surprising change has taken place in the relative positions of Constance and her younger sister Joan, Not so long ago Constance Bennett was said to be the most highly paid star in filmland. She had a great following, while Joan was as rule referred to as merely her younger sister. Now Constance has almost sunk into the background and Joan's reputation increases rapidly. She is busy on Walter Wanger's "Vogues of 1998" an expensive coloured musical in which she appears with Warner Baxter. After this, she will make "Summer Lightning" with Bryan Aherne and later still, under Walter Wanger's production management, will appear in a colour version of "The Arabian Nights" with Sylvia Sidney, Madeleine Carroll and Henry Fonda.
