A free kick outside the penalty area gave Tung Hwa on opportunity but was not converted. The struggle continued round the S.F.X. goal until a good shot from the Tung Hwa right wing was well saved by Wong who cleared the ball to mid field whence it went to Foyn on the wing, but the movement was intercepted.
'A concerted push was then made by ihe Tung Hwa on their opponents gôal when Borodin again distinguish ed himself by clearing well. The remainder of this half was mostly on the S.F.X. ground though an attack on the Tung Hwa goal resulted in e corner which Foyn failed to convert Half Time S.F.X. 2, Tung Hwa, Nil.
