Mr, W. J. ©. Shoppee Falls Down Lift Shaft The New Year holiday was marred vy a fatal accident in which Mr.
Shoppee, of Messrs. Russian watchman later heard cries for help, and found Mr. Shoppee seriously "injured at the bottom of the freight lift shaft in the east wing of the building.
An inquest was opened at the General Hospital by Mr. C. H. Haines, Coroner, Jan. 1 morning, and was adjourned until January it.
