Canned pineapple is another noticeable item. Last year our empire produced ¥.10,000,000 worth of this, all in the Japanese meal is asparagus, of which Japan produced about Y.1,000,000 worth last year, yet we are some Y.700,000 worth at home and exported only Y.300000 worth.
