To the Editor of the "NortH-CHina Day News"
Sim.—As a non-Russian member of this community, who has found much pleasure in the performances given by the Russian Operetta Ca., during the last season, may I, now that the season is closed, address through the columns of your esteemed paper, a word of heartfelt thanks to all the excellent artists, dancers, members of orchestra and choristers who have given me anda great many others se much pleasure.
No great imagination is needed to visualize the numerous difficulties they have to contend with, given the limited means at their disposal and the-amount of work entailed by the careful preparation. and satisfactory execution of so many operettas.
So, my well-earned thanks to all of them and my best wishes for a successful continuation of their efforts during the next season.
