The two teams concerned will replay the game at the Canidrome. "Their con-duet in most trying circumstances has been the subject of appreciative comment, Both of them took steps fo protect the referee from the attentions of the unmannerly mob fand both played clean sporting fool ball without any temper, despite the heat generated inthe stands. The Shanghai Football Association has reason therefore to feel that whatever criticisms may. be levelled against the spectators—indeed it seems. that only a section of them could be held at fault—the sporting spirit which It endeavours {0 foster was fully maintained. It is highly probable that the demonstrators were not genuine football supporters at alt but drawn from the crowd which entered the Stadium under the free after half-time rule.
