League of Nations Societies Meeting Closed Nanking, July 6.
Mr. T. K. Tseng, Vice-Minister of Railways who is heading the Chinese Delegation to the 21st annual conference of the international Federation of League of Nations Societies, reports by cable that the conference at Prague has closed after adopting Chinese proposals in favour of:
l—Strengthening the Covenant of the League of Nations.
2—Interdicting the release of motion-pictures likely to injure amicable relations between nations.
2.—Inclysion of material in school textbooks—censuring international aggression.
The Chinese invitation for holding the next (22nd) annual conference of the Federation in China in 1938 was adopted in principle. Owing to the time required for making the necessary preparations, however, it was decided instead to hold the 23rd annual conference in China in 1939—Kuo Min.
