The life imprisonment sentence passed sometime ago by the First Special District Court on Yang Chia~ chu, head of the general department of the Asia Development Society, an fanti-Chinese terrorist gang formerly operating in Hongkew for his implication in the brutal murder of Tsai Tean-tu, late manager of the closed "China Social Evening News" whose decapitated head was found in a French Concession stroct many months ago, has been commuted into a seve year prison term, Yang received a lighter sentence a result of his filing an appeal with the Second Branch Kiangsu High Court which changed the decision made by the lower court in favour of Yang.
