Much significance is attached to ihe appointment of Mr. Kuo Mo-jo as Secretary-General of the Political Training Department in General Chiang Kal-shek's headquarters.
Me. Kuo Mo-jo is one of China's leading writers and poets, and 16 recognised as a Left Wing author. He previously lived as a political exile in Japan, but he returned to China after the outbreak of the Sino-Japanese hostilities.
