With Russian Soccer Players

"hE Savoia were rather fortunate to be winners of the Second Round Tze Ling Cup tie yesterday against the R.A.M.C., which ended at four goals to three.

The Medicals had most of the play and should have scored at least twice in the opening fifteen minutes.

Mortimer was unfortunate to be pushed off the ball when well placed.

The Medicals turned over at half time with a lead of two to one; on the run of play they should have had a bigger lead, but they did not finish well their outfield movements.

In the second half, after the Savoia had drawn level, Mortimer again placed the Medicals in the lead, but the Italians equalized and then went on to lead until the end.

The Medicals rather astonished those that were present, by their display in view of the fact that they had gone down to the same side in a Skottowe Cup contest by ten goals to nil. The fact that they were able to hold the Italians to the odd goal in seven was largely due to ti fine work of their half-back line/in which Addington was. the it standing player.

Jesu was the outstanding member of the Savoia side, and some of his opening out play was well worth watching.

Zioni, Sangullo.

Fumagalli, Mortimer, Buckley, Sadier hold their rivals to a one-goal draw t half-time, they were unable to ner ease their score whereas the French side managed to net twice The outstanding players for the French side were Metals. Dimailla.

Sinh, Dujark, and Lebais.
