New York Stocks

Friday's Closing Quotations

New York, Feb. 10.

Conditions on the Stock Exchange today were again dull and listless, with the volume of business passing light. Trading again confirmed to the same general pattern as witnessed during the recent sessions, with price fluctuations regulated by good domestic business news which in turn was tempered by the prevailing European political uncertainties. However, on balance, the market gave a good account of itself, with prices, after easing Guring the early part of the day, rallying towards the close on good buying, with many issues closing at the day's top levels. However, the approach of the long week-end holiday kept many traders off the floor. The turnover amounted to only 440,000 shares.
