London, Nov. 18.

Four explosions rent the air in the West End of London during the blackout this evening as Irish terrorists once again went into action, using the air raid precautions system as a shield for their activities, No one was hurt and the police experienced no difficulty in maintaining order. Three unexploded time bombs were discovered by the authorities. one of them just shortly before it was due to go off.

Tonight's outbreak of terrorism wes the first since the war began eleven weeks ago. The bomb explosions occurred at the corner of Piccadilly and Park Lane, in the centre of Piccadilly, on Upper Regent Street and on Lower Regent Street. There were large crowds of people in the streets at the time, for the explosions occurred just as cinemas and theatres were emptying.

Two of the three unexploded bombs were discovered in ihe vicinity. The third infernal machine was found in Park Lane.—Havas.
