Ab Jenkins, the American rac motorist, broke all records from kilometres to twelve hours here today. His average speed for the 500 kilometres was 172.02 miles per hour, and for twelve hours 160.17 miles per hour. Jenkins i now attacking the 48 hours record. He was twice slightly injured when his car went into a spin, First his arm was punctured by a wheel spoke, and next his arm was struck by a flying piece of rubber, Earlier this month he abandoned further attempts after breaking seven records from 50 to 500 kilometres, on account of a rain storm which flooded the salt beds—
