Both opening line-ups went in for the third quarter and the Y. M. C. A. basketeers began to find the basket with considerably more accuracy. They netted the ball eight times in this period but Van Allen of the Navy team proved to be the outstanding individual in this quarter by marking up eight points for his side.
The second teams again saw action in the last quarter and put up a better display than in their first trials. Gaberman of the Y was outstanding with six points to his credit. The game ended with the Ymcas still improving their lead with Dobrenky Scoring shortly before the whistle to bring the total to 43 to 23.
