Tokyo, Mar. 7.
The pivotal point of Japan's diplomatic policies is the "reinforcement of the Anti-Comintern Pact against the destructive machinations of the Comintern Pact against the destructive machinations of the Comintern," declared the Foreign Minister, Mr. Hachiro Arita, in a plenary session of the budgetary committee in the Lower House yesterday.
Replying to Mr, Hatsutaro Haraguchi, member of the Seiyukai, the Foreign Minister reiterated the statement made by the Premier, Baron Kiichiro Hiranuma, some time ago that "it is a mistake to think of Japan as a totalitarian state. Japan is not a country which wishes to oppose Britain, America, France and other countries."
