The new general manager of the Paramount Ballroom, which is now under foreign control, is A. V. Martin, a member of the local French Community and experienced ballroom and night club official. Mr. Martin has been identified with dining and dancing establishments in Europe and South America and for two years was ce-owner of the Golden Pheasant in Phoenix, Arizona, His motto is "personal service to all guests." In addition to more than 100 hostesses, the ballroom has two dance floors, an American cocktail bar and one of the best dance bands in the city.
