Thus reads the International News Photograph caption to this picture of Tommy Farr in training for his world championship bout:—"We do not know if Tommy Farr's ancestors (ay back) ever rode to battle in tin suits, followed by a squire bearing th arms and spare tin-plating, but it's a cinch that none of them ever ad their gauntlets buckled on by an ex-champ. Tommy has come a long way in the fight game and, as he trains to meet Joe Louis for the heavyweight championship, we find Jim Braddock, who lost his world's boxing crown to the Dusky Dynamiter, lacing oh his gloves. Jim visited the challengers camp to give him some pointers about the chomp's style."
