Chungking, Mar. 10. M. Henri Cosme, the new French Ambassador, presented his credentials this afternoon to Mr. Lin Sen, Chairman of the Chinese National Government. In the course of his speech, M. Cosme referred to his mission in Chine vs the happiest development of his diplomatic career.
He said that he was glad to return to the country where he had so many friends, and to express to Mr. Lin Sen the intense sympathy which inspired the French people in their attitude towards China.
Tu reply, Mr. Lin Sen expressed confidence that the presence of the new Ambassador in China would not fail further to strengthen the ties of friendship already existing between the Chinese and French Republics—Reuter.
