Firm Action Asked

Washington, Feb. 2.

Renewing the heated foreign policy debate in the Senate to-day, Senator William H. King, Democrat of Utah, declared that the United States should not look with "indifference" on Japan's "flagrant" violation of the Nine-Power Treaty, the Versailles Treaty and the League of Nations Covenant in the China war.

The momentous debate on foreign policy opened yesterday when Sena-for William E. Borah, Independent Republican of Idaho, warned the Administration against "the. very things" that brought on the Great War. He condemned oficial- statements and actions which might give the world the impression that an alliance existed between the United States and Britain.—United Press.
