The Reserve Unit turned out to 21 riot calls, and on 12 occasions to the scenes of armed robbery. In addition the Unit "stood by" on 151 occasions, carried out 5 riot squad mobile search parties and 292 fixed post search parties, supplied 71 mobile escorts, 92 guards to Courts and 3 guards at the Police Hospital. Assistance was rendered to various Police Districts on 320 occasions. The high standard of efficiency of the Unit has been fully maintained.
