Bolsena, Dec. 29.
There were four earth tremors in the Bolsena region near Rome yester: day which scared the population. There were no reports regarding damage or casualties as a result of the tremblors—United Press.
Helsinki, Dec. 29.
The Ministry of Supply yesterday announced measures to prevent a rise of prices in Finland despite the war with Russia.
The new regulations largely de. pend on the self-sacrifice and co-Operation of all classes of shopkeepers, who are required to notify the Ministry, giving reasons if price increases are necessary. An increase would be permitted if the reasons given are sufficient, but if prices are raised unjustifiably they will be cited for legal action—United Press.
