No Means of Identification

The Police are of the opinion that the guests made the victim drunk with wine and then killed him, carefully removing all signs of identifica tion from the body before leaving the scene of the crime. The only effects that' were found on the murdered man were two tram tickets; however there is evidence that the man had been wearing a ring upon the fourth finger of his left hand.

Two men, one an actor in the New World Amusement Resort and the other an employee of a leather shop in the same building, were arrested by the police and subsequently released. The murder is not thought to have had any political significance.
