Manila, Mar. 9.
The all-conquering Islington Corinthians scored an overwhelming victory over an all Chinese team here to-night by 9 goals to 0. The match was the first of a series of 8 matches they are scheduled to play here.
The Chinese team were unable to get into their stride at all against their more experienced opponents and the play was almost the entire time in the Chinese half, and by;|half-time the score was 5-0.
Sherwood, the Islington Corinthians' centre forward, scored six goals.—Reuter.
