London, Jan. 17.
Six hundred thousand workers on Great Britain's railways have been warned to keep a keen and constant look-out for suspicious characters who may be Nazi agents in disguise, reports the "Daily Telegraph" today.
Secret instructions, the newspaper declares, are stated to have been sent out by the railway companies to station masters, goods agents and heads of departments. According to these instructions, the journal goes on, information has been received which suggests that the German intelligence service is planning to carry out acts of sabotage in United Kingdom. In such an event, the "Daily Telegraph" adds, lines of communications are likely to be the first target for enemy action, and immediate precautionary measures are advised.—Reuter.
