TARRAGONA FEELS RAIDERS' FURY

Nationalist Planes Bomb Another City — GEN. FRANCO SEES SURE VICTORY AHEAD — Barcelona, Mzr. 19

The Nationalist air force which this week terrified Barcelona with a series of devastating raids, to-day shifted its operations fifty miles down the coast to Tarragona. War Department dispatches to-day stated that insurgent bombers had killed at least eighteen persons, injured fifty and destroyed forty buildings at the Southern city. Hundreds of residents of Tarragona, afraid to remain in their homes, were reported to be living in the city's subways.

Although many thousands, of men, women and children have evacuated Barcelona this week, this city cute wardly presents a normal aspect again and the air raids which took such a heavy toll of lives have ceased.
