In well guarded words. officials of the U.S. Navy to-day admitted that patrol bombers were conducting dawn Patrols in connection with the movement of ghe Fleet in this area.
The officials hastened to add, however, that such aerial activity was not unusual and stressed the fact that it was a regular routine and not inspired by rumours that alien submarines had been sighted off the Pacific coast, which were openly scoffed at by naval cfücials.—United ress,
