The market was very dull and uninteresting to-day. Heavy declines in raw rubber markets had a depressing effect, buyers are holding off pending better news from primary markets, New York, Mar. 23.
Heavy selling and cdpsiderable liquidation dragged stock prices on Wall Street to-day to a new low level since the past three years. Chemicals and steels led the downward movement. The turnover was heavy, amounting to 1,470,000 shares, whilst the ticker at some periods lagged behind by as many as five minutes.
