Tokyo, Jan. 7 The amount of extraordinary expenditure required for the "China Incident" during the coming financial year, which will be submitted to the Diet shortly, is being "cautiously discussed" by the Ministries of War, Navy and Finance, according to the "Asahi Shimbun" to-day.
The combined expenditures of the Army and Navy for the Sino-Japanese hostilities in the coming year, the newspaper adds, are expected to exceed Y.4,000,000,000.
It wil be remembered that Y:2592000,000 was voted a few months ago to cover extraordinary military expenditure until the financial year ends on March 31.
