Stockholm, Feb. 11 Sweden's determined clean-up of the Communist organization throughout the country continued today with a large-scale series of searches and arrests in Gothenburg. A "large nun-ber" of suspects was taken into custody and a huge pile of incriminatory documents was seized. The papers disclosed the Communist party's intentions and plans to rebel against the established Government.
Most of the documents bore the warning. "Burn after reading" and there was evidence that a large portion of files and material was burned before the police swooped down on the various hideous.
The Gothenburg police, hearing of rumours that the city's labour organizations were mixed up in the Communist imbroglio, issued a firm denial and stated, on the contrary. that the labour units had given the authorities a great deal of assistance.
