No forward sales have been made owing to the low price at present obtaining.

During the year 58 acres of the oldest area were cüt out and replanted and good progress is being shown by the new planting. This also applies to the 1936 replanting. As was done last year, all replanting expenditure has been charged to profit and loss account.

The estate is in good condition and buildings, with the exception of the hospital are in a good state of repair. Since the close of the year the building of a new hospital has been commenced. Four new two-room lines have been constructed and we now have sufficient room dor the present labour force. A new engine and an electric pump were installed during the year and both are giving satisfaction. The rubber machines are getting old and, although in running condition, will have to be replaced in the near future.

The health of the labour force continued to be good throughout the year and the labour question caused no serious difficulty.
