Concern Felt in Manila

Manila, Mar. 11.

Concern was felt here today over the fate of more than 200 passengers who were forced to take to lifeboats last night when the British-owned China coastal steamer Ariadne Moller went aground while en route from Wenchow to Shanghai.

The local R. C. A. radio station intercepted an S.O.S. from the disabled ship which reported it was in heed of immediate assistance.

The ship gave her position as latitude 21,5005, longitude 120,59.09.—United Press.
