Passed 30 Ponies

Miss Marschall, who had been badly left at the last check, finished third on Fey. This was a remarkable performance as she had passed about thirty ponies during the last three quarters of a mile, and, without detracting from the excellent performance of Gaucho and Athene, it is quite possible that Fey would have man ahead of both had he gotten well away at the check.

Major Delamain, or Kagawang was a close fourth, followed by Mr. O. Joerg on Sunset, Mrs. Delamain on Robin Grey, Mr. Dallas on Ireland. and Baron von Delwig on Wodan. As Mrs. Delamain had missed a jump during the run in, she withdrew her name from the card. and Mr. Weid-inger, on Minuet, moved into eighth place. There were no heavyweights on the card, but Mr. Huse of Tientsin and Lieutenant Trachta of Peiping pressed Mr, Weidinger closely and, considering the length and dificulty of the hunt, made an excellent showing.
